Who knew it was August even in Florida. The rain has slowed down a bit… but the temps rose which was a great motivation for Cordie and I to stay indoors and increase our work hours.
Two different weekends we had the surprise of friends and my little sister visiting the state of Florida for a work trip.
We picked her up from Downtown Disney in Orlando.. took her out for a birthday lunch.. then headed to the outlets before taking her to the airport. It was a short and sweet visit but we were happy to spend the day celebrating her 23rd bday!
Sooo incredibly proud of Elizabeth… all that she is and becoming.
An old friend of mine, Madison and her family were in St. Augustine for a family vacation. She is a mother of two, Shea 2 1/2 yrs old and Liam had just turned 1… the last time I saw Madison was when she was pregnant with Shea so it was a lot of fun getting to meet them both and see her thriving as a wonderful mom.
Shea… is one of the bravest toddlers I have ever seen… running with no fear into the ocean…and already such a care taker of her little brother Liam.
We really enjoyed spending some good beach and pool time with the Curtis Family.
As you can see in the golf ball divet above Cordie has been playing exceptional golf this month… leading him to win his first ever club championship.
Practicing my putting on the 13th tee. We have been very happy with the Queens Harbour Golf Course… as you can see it has breathtaking views of the intercoastal waterway.
