Its sooo important to take some time…

For yourself, family and relationship when life is incredibly busy and has no intention of slowing down anytime soon…

For us its as simple as getting up a little bit earlier than usual, having breakfast together… then heading to the beach to take some fun pictures before we get back to our work for the day!

Sometimes its just a nice long walk through a neighborhood or the beach but we are both very intentional about taking time for each other and our marriage since with how busy we are with our jobs if we didn’t take the time…days could go by without us having a “REAL” conversation with each other…

How do you take time out or balance your busy life with family, friends and for yourself? Do you have something you do once a week or everyday? We’d love to hear! And maybe use for our next day date or time out with each other!

Melbourne Days

Pictures of our time in Melbourne… all in a very random order not in sequence of the days we were there but for you to see more of where we were and how marvelous our time in this city truly was…

Lots of time on the train, tram and buses… but we did walk AT LEAST 2-3 miles EVERY DAY!! Trying to do that here at home as well isn’t as easy when you have a car to drive to the grocery store..

We lOVED our Australian COFFEE and miss it very much..

Sooo good to catch up with so many old friends and meet new ones too!

Christmas day loving… Below on our way to the church (we got there an hour early on accident )

If only we had REAL lemon lime bitters in America.. just missing that right lemonade and lime cordial… So good.

The below pictures we started our day early with brunch at Tall Timber (one of the best we had – and we had a lot of brunch!) then took a short tram ride to the Royal Botanical Gardens.

After walking around the gardens touring a bit we made our way to the Docklands… it was just over 7 miles and the perfect way for Cordie to see parts of Melbourne we had yet to visit!

And a great way to end our time in Melbourne – exhausted yet full of life, new friendships, laughter and trust for what 2015 has in store for us as individuals and as a couple.

Osborn + Doery Wedding

On Friday January 2nd, 2015 my little brother married the girl of his dreams.. Hannah Elisabeth Doery in the Burnley Gardens… it was a glorious 100+ degrees sun was shining…seats were full… ice cream was delicious.. great convos…music playing and a beautiful ceremony.

The ipad got overheated so there was a nice 5 min break in the middle of the vows – which the bride and groom both said was really nice so they could take in everything.

We love you Donald & Hannah!!!

This is the only Doery grandchild at the moment.. he turns two in March! Such a stud!

It’s A NEW YEAR ll 2015

On New Year’s eve we got together at a park to celebrate Jo Rose Boot’s 24th Birthday with the Doerys and a few of her friends…

From there we headed into the downtown part of the city to wait for the fireworks to go off! Below is Flinders Station

In the Treasury Gardens (about a 6 min walk from Flinders Station) while we waited for the fireworks to go off there was a large light box with music playing… we all went and danced/goofed around for a couple of hours – which really helped keep you warm as it was freezing by 10pm!
